A West LA CPA firm is seeking recent graduates, Bachelors or Masters (May 2019 or 2020) to join their growing team. The successful candidate will work with a variety of Corporate, Partnership and Individual clients.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of Corporate, Partnership, and Individual Federal and State tax returns
- Federal Tax Research
- Keeping current on new federal and state tax laws and other matters
- Coordination with Client Accounting and Assurance department in meeting client needs
- Communicating with clients, client meetings, and responding to client inquiries, IRS, and state tax notices
Requirements:
- 0-2 years of tax experience in a public accounting
- BS or Masters in Accounting/Tax preferred
- Basic computer skills in Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel
- Attention to detail
- Strong people skills
- Ability to work well with a team and independently
- Desire to work toward CPA designation and/or Masters in Taxation
