International Tax Senior – NYC
Our client, a technology giant located in New York City, is looking for an International Tax Senior to join their team of dedicated tax professionals to assist with the international tax compliance, tax accounting, tax controversy and planning functions.

The Senior International Tax Associate position will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and/or review of U.S. International Tax and foreign tax compliance. Also, this position will be responsible for assisting in U.S. International tax research, Accounting for Income Taxes (ASC 740), tax audits, tax planning, transfer pricing, other tax projects and overall support of the tax department.
Responsibilities –
* Assist in preparation and/or review of U.S. International tax workpapers, forms, and
statements and elections for Pattern’s foreign entities (Forms 5471, 8865 and 8858)
* Assist in the preparation of Subpart F, GILTI, earnings and profits, I.R.C. 987
calculations, BEAT, foreign tax credit, withholding tax, and other tax calculations
* Identify and implement process improvements in the U.S. International Tax Compliance process
* Participate in U.S. International tax research as part of the US International tax
compliance process, tax planning projects, and other tax projects
* Assist in gathering tax information and preparing tax workpapers for the foreign tax
compliance process
* Assist in year-end Accounting for Income Taxes (ASC 740) compliance
* Participate in special projects including international tax planning
* Assist with the U.S Federal and Foreign tax audits/notices related to all international tax
matters
Requirements –
* Bachelor’s degree in accounting or similar
* CPA and/or Graduate Degree in Taxation is a plus.
* 1+ years of relevant U.S. International Tax work experience in Big 4 accounting firm and/or
multinational corporate tax department showing the ability to progressively assume
additional responsibilities
* Proficient with tax software and Microsoft Suite products.
