Responsibilities

  • Administer the functions necessary for the proper and timely processing of employee payroll data, maintain controls (Input and Output) associated with U.S. payroll using integrated payroll and HRIS system
  • Manage timely processing of transactions relating to various benefits and Federal statute compliance
  • Manage and process transactions related to Flexible Spending Accounts and Health Spending Accounts
  • Manage and process W-2s
  • Knowledge of changing payroll taxes (federal, state, local)
  • Review and verify payroll, post payroll transactions to general ledger
  • Ensure payroll and general ledger data integrity, assign proper security levels to internal staff as necessary
  • Assist with payroll and 401k audits as needed

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 8 years experience processing and managing multi-state payrolls
  • Experience with Workday A+
  • Experience with 6000 + employee payrolls
  • Bachelor’s Degree

Manager of Financial Reporting

Our client is a global technology company and they are looking for a Manager of Financial Reporting. This is a critical function to the organization and they are looking for a candidate that has demonstrated expertise in financial accounting.

Responsibilities:

  • The individual will have high visibility to the Vice President, Controller and be responsible for collaborating with business leaders to provide technical accounting guidance on strategic transactions, assessing accounting ramifications, developing position papers and determining appropriate conclusions
  • The candidate is expected to add value to the Company’s financial reporting by contributing to the Company’s 10Q/10Ks, validating the accuracy of the disclosures, reviewing press releases, preparing quarterly presentations to the audit and disclosure committees and coordinating with the external auditors.
  • Key reporting issues include stock compensation, financing issues, acquisition accounting, fair value issues, hedge accounting, goodwill impairment, earnings per share, lease accounting, and pension accounting.
  • Work closely with various business leaders including Treasury, HR, Legal, M&A, FP&A, etc. to provide guidance on the accounting ramifications of strategic transactions.

Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years public company experience
  • Prior public/technical accounting and experience
  • CPA required

Responsibilities:

  • Perform monthly close activities (e.g., month-end close journal entries, analysis, reconciliations, accruals)
  • Prepare and analyze general ledger account reconciliations such as banks, AR and AP
  • Propose and execute improvements to current financial reporting and analysis.
  • Assist and preparation of documentation for external audits.
  • Assist and coordinate with physical inventory count at manufacturing plants, warehouses and retail stores.

They are looking for a Tax Director to be part of a dynamic team of tax professionals, designing, implementing and managing tax planning strategies, working with both internal and external teams and staying current on new tax regulations and laws. Reports to the VP Tax.

Core Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide analysis on US & non-US transactions, including M&A, cross border, reorganization.
  • Prepare memos, both internal and external in relation to impending and executed transactions
  • Collaborate with business partners to identify and implement tax planning
  • Provide support to other finance teams when needed
  • Manage external law firm and accounting firm relationships
  • Stay current with any new tax regulations and/or laws as they pertain to the company.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Advance degree (JD, LLM)
  • 12+ years of relevant Global Tax experience – including M&A, cross-border, partnership tax, Private Equity

Corporate Counsel – Commercial Contracts

Our client is a premier, nationally recognized Pharmaceutical company looking to hire a Corporate Counsel.  The ideal candidate will provide legal support for domestic and internal clinical trials work and will report to the Associate General Counsel.

Responsibilities

  • Serves as the primary legal advisor point person for one or more internal business customers and/or products and provide comprehensive legal support to designated business customers/corporate functions, regarding all contracts, vendors, projects, advertising/promotion, training materials, program design, clinical study agreements or documentation for clinical trials, etc.
  • Prepares and provides legal review of Company documents such as contracts and correspondence (e.g., to regulatory agencies) related to Company products and/or compounds, including providing legal guidance memos, both independently and for review, approval, and use by management and/or business customers. Independently negotiates contract language and other issues with third parties (vendors, etc.).
  • Handle day to day legal work relating to generics and specialty divisions within Pharma as well as Finance, HR, IT, Sales & Marketing, R&D, commercial, REMS
  • Draft, negotiate, in-house NDAs, MSAs, PSAs, HCP and non-HCP consulting agreements, IT Licensing, clinical research and REMS agreements
  • Monitors current developments in several key legal areas, as assigned, and provides Legal Affairs Department colleagues and business customers, when requested, with updates regarding same

Qualifications:

  • JD law degree
  • 5+ years of experience as in-house counsel for Pharmaceutical company

AR Chargeback Analyst

Our client is a global Pharmaceutical company located in Central Jersey and they are looking for an Accounts Receivable – Chargeback Analyst. The company has a proven history of developing pharmaceutical products using their proprietary technology platform. Responsibilities:

  • Prepares and processes daily cash applications by applying receipts to matching invoices and addressing discrepancies as needed
  • Collect on invalid chargebacks by contacting account and providing backup documentation to prove why the charge is invalid
  • Research chargebacks resulting from non-compliance with account’s routing requirements as well as chargebacks relating to terms of sale
  • Prepare credit memo requests or write-offs, as necessary
  • Maintain database
  • Analyze accounts in Excel using pivot tables/vlookups
  • Inputs all receipts into accounting system on a daily basis
  • Monitors outstanding accounts receivables and follows up on past due accounts
  • Research and reconcile customers’ A/R accounts relating to chargebacks, shortages, pricing, trade related and misc. deductions

 

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in MS Excel
  • 5+ years with chargeback experience
  • Must have an associate degree or above in accounting
